Business Networking

NISE targets to achieve 360 degree growth of our members through fortnightly networking sessions, the NISE expects its members to benefit from business referrals and leads and to stay in touch with the latest developments in trade, commerce, industry and investment opportunities.

Network Methodology

Welcome to NISE. My name is Jagdev. I am the Networking Director at NISE. It is my pleasant duty to help structure and co-ordinate all the networking sessions.

So, what is a Networking Session...?

Well, first of all a networking session is an opportunity for all those who participate :

Success Stories To learn something new about personal development and self enrichment

Success Stories To build up contacts for business and social value

Success Stories To give and receive business referrals

Success Stories To have fellowship twice a month with positive like minded people

Success Stories To expand personal horizons and possibilities

In a typical networking session, we start off with some welcome messages and some motivation and learning for personal development. Then we welcome new members and everyone gets to know them a bit better. This is followed by the 1 minute presentations where each member takes to the floor to introduce their profession, vocation or business. They may or may not have a specific need. If they do, they can ask members present to help them out - eg. I am looking for a good plumber, or I need an introduction to the HR Department of XYZ Co., etc.

The next activity is often the highlight of the event when actual referrals are exchanged. Here members who have spoken on behalf of another member to third parties will provide the contact and referral for follow up and business development.

This may be followed by a special 10 minute presentation by one member about his or her business, life, philosophy or something like that. We also call in experts and specialists from time to time to enlighten us on various aspects of personal development, business and life in general!

We cap off the session with lucky draws and gifts - but that's a bit of a secret. Join us in one of the sessions to find out more !!!
